Market

Sports related merchandise is a multi-billion dollar annual business. Here are some statistics on a few segments of the sports industry market in the U.S.: The fishing industry portion has annual retail sales of $17 billion. The hunting portion is $13 billion. Camping, backpacking, & hiking is $12 billion. Golf is $19 billion. The Internet conveniently facilitates both player entertainment & profits from sales of merchandise.

A study by Nielsen Media Research & CommerceNet released in mid-1999 indicates that in North America alone more than two in five people are Internet users & that 60% of these users, or 55 million, are also Internet consumers.

I've been predicting the growth of the Internet in my speaking engagements & articles -- here are some comments I've made:

Since lecturing about the Internet at the Bahamas conference, I learned the U.S. Dept. of Commerce issued a report on the web-based economy. It said: "Electronic commerce will be the engine for economic growth in the next century." It recently issued its second report in its series of three, titled "The Emerging Digital Economy, II." In it, it said "By 2006, almost half of the U.S. workforce will be employed by industries that are either producers or intensive users of information technology products & services."

My friend Ken Coleman says "On fact about the Internet is that every statistic will be obsolete within three months because of its rapid growth."

All of the predictions & surveys I've seen project that worldwide use of the Internet as well as e-commerce will grow significantly during the next 10 years.

Some people will probably say the bloom is off the rose at various times during the coming continuing growth period. You'll be reasonably safe in dismissing those naysayers. The Internet is just too darn convenient. I took a long time getting into using it, but now I do a great deal of my research there. When I need prices & news on any situation, for example, I use the Financial Navigator at WallStreetCorner.com.

Conservative Speculator is another example. My readers like the fact that it's now accessed on WallStreetCorner.com -- they get it quicker, they can download parts or all of it, back issues are archived without taking up room in their houses, & no matter where they are in the world, it's always available.

Financial Status

JOCK executed a reverse merger 5/12/99. The web site will be operational on or about 10/6/99, & financial data will become available within a reasonable time thereafter.

Recommendation

I recommend JOCK for both midterm & long-term appreciation. SportsPrize developed a concept of solid potential that appeals to an online sports community in the millions. Sports enthusiasts are known for their competitive spirit, & willingness to spend money on sports merchandise.

I like the fact that the sports fans who go to SportsPrize.com can create their own Tournament groups. Competitions can be segmented by geographic or affinity interests, or by the sport involved. Fans can exchange news & views in chat rooms, have interactive access to such experts as athletes & coaches, buy & sell through the auction, keep in touch via e-mail, & share discounts for on-line shopping. SportsPrize allows them to do all these things globally, regionally, statewide, or locally.

I like the fact that JOCK will build a targeted audience that will enable it to test market products, packaging, pricing, etc. It will be able to sponsor products & services, and provide all sorts of revenue producing opportunities.

The continuing growth of the Internet offers the public an opportunity for quick & easy access to interactive play with the "SportsPrize Tournament" proprietary game, sports information, & related merchandise. The official launch date is scheduled as Wednesday, October 6, 1999.

I also like anything that exposes people to sports rather than to violence & crudeness. We need more sports & less of the negative aspects we are exposed to in the news, etc. This is a site that most parents will not object to their children going to.

On 8/24/99, JOCK announced it signed an agreement with Dreams Products, Inc., division of Dreams, Inc., which creates, produces, & manufactures sports & celebrity memorabilia.

Dreams Products is the franchisor of "Field of Dreams," the nationwide chain of 37 sports & celebrity gift stores in major U.S. regional malls. Members of the SportsPrize community will be able to bid for & purchase collectable sports merchandise & memorabilia through the SportsPrize Auction, as well as JOCK's three other shopping environments: Winner's Mall, Clearance Mall, & SuperStore.

Here are other things I like:

o Very large market potential o Mass appeal of sports o Significant e-commerce opportunity
o On 8/13/99, the company filed to become a reporting issuer
o JOCK is also working with leading Internet & sports marketing partners Interactive Marketing Inc. & Kaleidoscope Sports & Entertainment to co-ordinate its traditional & Internet marketing efforts
o JOCK is using the INTERSHOP Communications, Inc. Enterprise sell-side e-commerce software to customize its on-line storefront -- INTERSHOP's customers include Bell South, Mindspring, Bosch, Canon USA, Hewlett-Packard, Celestial Seasonings, HP, Mercedes Benz U.S. International, Silicon Graphics, among others
o JOCK is using Frontier GlobalCenter's (NYSE/FRO) Digital Distribution Architecture to host its web site
o JOCK is doing the right thing in getting its story known, including using Sonora Capital for financial consulting, Focus Partners LLC for investor relations, & WallStreetCorner.com for investor & financial professional Internet exposure

Disclaimer: The public companies featured in the Corporate Profiles listed in the "Special Situation" section on the Home Page of www.WallStreetCorner.com are our regular clients. Each such client pays an annual cash fee of $12,000, or alternatively, a monthly cash fee of $495 plus a negotiated number of Form 144 restricted shares for our service. We on rare occasions accept free-trading shares, but we usually hold such shares for the long pull - we do not engage in trading. Such fees are disclosed as part of the Corporate Profile prepared and posted on the particular company involved. The basic coverage provided to such clients primarily includes the preparation of their Corporate Profile, posting it here at WallStreetCorner.com, and the distribution of email alerts to our international database of investors and financial professionals when their Profile is initially posted, and each time their Profile is subsequently updated. We expect our clients to work with us in a team effort by calling us each time they have achieved a significant milestone. We then update their Profile and issue an additional email alert to our totally opt-in email database (as of July 2008, members of that database are from over 96 countries). The email distributions we make are a key element of our service -- those, as well as the updated Corporate Profile are what together are designed to achieve a gradual buildup of new shareholders who generally hold for the long term.
