There is no information overload to overwhelm the investor; just
pertinent, timely data vital to the investment decision. Detailed,
technical analysis can be linked to free sites for charting & quantitative
analysis. Direct linkage to stockbrokers enables the investor to
make stock purchases without exiting the web site.
Part of W3OTC's income comes from small-cap growth companies advertising
on the web site with direct hyper-links to their own web sites,
either directly, or via WallStreetCorner.com, which will provide
professionally created corporate profiles on some of the companies
that place ads on W3OTC.com.
With over 62 million Internet users in 150 countries worldwide
& growing at 85% per year, there is obviously a huge market for
W3OTC's services. Investors appreciate the simple, direct approach
to obtaining focussed investment information on W3OTC.com. This
creates a specifically targeted audience for advertisers.
Market
One of W3OTC's potential advertising markets is public companies.
There are about 15,000 in the United States. They include 2,500
NASDAQ Small Cap, 2,500 NASDAQ NMS, 1,000 AMEX, 2,000 NYSE, 6,000
OTC Bulletin Board, & some regionals. About 75% (12,000) are small-cap
companies. These companies have little or no visibility in the national
financial press -- It is these that constitute the public company
portion of the market W3OTC targets for its advertising.
The Investment Reporter sponsors four annual "Discovery Expos"
each year highlighting emerging equity companies to over 1,000 brokers,
analysts, & fund managers. This tie-in (same management) offers
a strong platform for growth of W3OTC. The next Expo is in New York
on Thursday, 10/7/99 at the NY Hilton & Towers, 6th Ave. & 53rd
St. from Noon to 8:00 p.m.
Management
John G. Robbins is president & founder, & founder & publisher
of The Investment Reporter. Started in 1989, this monthly international
newspaper with a circulation of 50,000 focuses on NASDAQ companies.
John has worked with development stage companies for over 20 years.
He

also founded one of the largest financial public relations firms
in the country.
Marshall F. Sparks is CFO. He is a founder of Hampton Financial
Corp., recently formed to implement small equity financings in the
public market for emerging growth companies. He worked in capital
formation for developing companies for over 20 years, specializing
in medical technology. A CPA, he worked with small business clients
at Deloitte & Touche to develop private placements & public offerings.
Financial Status
W3OTC is emerging from its development stage. Current financial
data will be available during the next quarter. The web site has
been operational since 2/98. The site, W3OTC.com, is being redesigned.
You can view it in its preliminary stage by going to www.EmergingEquities.com.
It will of course go through a process of refining & upgrading,
but you can get a reasonable idea of how it will look at this time.
Recommendation
I recommend W3OTC, Inc. for both midterm & long-term appreciation.
I consider this a high growth, high margin, low overhead business,
& that's an ideal combination.
W3OTC's revenue potential is very large. It includes advertising
by small-cap companies, mutual funds, on-line brokerages, full-service
brokers, newsletters, investment software, books, Internet sites,
link fees, lead generation fees, etc.
Management is planning to provide "Virtual Discovery Expos" to
compliment the real-life Discovery Expos. Visitors will fill out
a registration badge. When they visit a virtual booth, their information
will be sent to the virtual exhibitor. Each booth can feature downloadable
financial reports, streaming audio/video, message boards, & more.
This virtual expo format will provide year-round exposure & continual
investor lead generation for small-cap companies for a fee.
An interesting thought: If you're going to use this site, you might
as well own some of it. Here are some other things I like:
- Unique in that it focuses on the "Discovery" phase of the investment
process; not the research phase
