The Neptune Society (OTC Bulletin Board/NPTN) is the country's
largest & most successful cremation services company. Last year,
NPTN provided services to 4,943 customers & entered into 8,309 pre-need
arrangements with new customers.
With over two decades of experience in the death care industry,
it is marketing a proven, unique fixed price guaranteed system for
cremation services. NPTN presently has over 45,000 active pre-funded
pre-need members. The market for cremation services grew from just
7% of all death services in 1970 to 24% in 1998, & is projected
to reach 37% to 42% by 2010.
Cremation companies, such as NPTN, are less confined by their
history than a traditional funeral home which has to confront issues
of ethnicity, religion, & reputation. Cremation companies can serve
a wide geographic area with only limited facilities, & can cross
virtually all ethnic & religious backgrounds. Marketing efforts
can cover a much wider geographic area than the funeral home. Call

OnLine Production Services, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board/ONPS)
is an Internet/software solution company offering a service catering
to the unique needs of casting directors, talent agents, actors,
& others in the entertainment industry. The software is called Casting
Work Book (CWB). It is a database of over 11,000 performers that
is expected to reach 85,000 listings by the end of 1999.
CWB digitizes scripts, resumes, photographs, & eventually audio
& video tapes under tight security online. Preliminary auditions
can actually be done online. It simplifies the enormous task of
selecting performers for movies, television, & other entertainment
venues. Geographic boundaries disappear, & selections can be made
from anywhere in the world.
Every word in an actor's resume is sortable so casting directors
can find the right individual for the part. For instance, does the
actor horseback ride, or can he/she speak a foreign language. Each
actor & talent agent has his/her own secure Website which can be
updated remotely. Response to inquiries is almost instantaneous
-- a vast improvement over current procedures utilizing telephones,
copiers, faxes, courier services, & other older, slower methods
of communications.
ONPS solicited the input of prominent entertainment directors &
agents in preparing the CWB package. For example, Stuart Aikins,
a notable casting director (Moonstruck, Look Who's Talking, etc.)
contributed to the design & now conducts 100% of his business with
CWB. ONPS's revenue comes from subscription fees paid by the participants
-- an actor might pay from $200 up to $500 a year to maintain his/her
Website. The company is investigating other applications including
selecting of filming locations & other industry requirements.
The market for these services is large. In North America alone
there are in excess of 3.5 million potential subscribers; in Europe
about 1 million; & 500,000 in Asia -- about 5 million worldwide.
